I'd give it the Gold

It's called Bronze, but this knit deserves the Gold. It is my all time favorite knit. I NEVER thought that I'd say that about a cardigan or garter stitch. The lack of buttons hasn't even kept me from wearing it out to work. Or kept people from loving it. It's just that great.

I love pairing it up with my dark blue jeans seamed and decorated in almost the same color thread and black accessories-black crew neck shirt, black belt, black shoes. I tried white and brown, but it just didn't POP the same way.

Pattern: Lady February by Pamela Wynne
Yarn: Miss Babs Yowza- Whatta Skein! in Colorway Bronze
Needles: US 7
Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda: I had to scale down the arms by one pattern repeat, or 7 stitches. I have to do this for almost every knit I crank out. Apparently, stick arms are not the norm. Imagine that.

I cast on for the smallest size and used a slightly smaller weight yarn to scale down to the right size for me about a 31" chest. Miss Babs qualifies her Yowza as a worsted weight, but I'd compare it to the light worsted weight you can get from Louet. Not really heavy gauge stuff, which in this case worked out perfect. Go spend your last dimes on this yarn (approximately $60 for two HUGE skeins-1120 yds) and knit this up. It is THE perfect match. Just don't choose 'Bronze' okay? Go knit something blue or something.
