Oh, you wanted to see the socks I was working on in the car?
Monkey Socks by Cookie A. in River Rock (75% Superwash, 25% Nylon) by WhiteWillow. They are knit on size 2 needles for a 8.5 size foot. I love the way the pattern and the yarn actually look like debris flowing down little rivulets and even clogging up here and there. Yes, I am patting myself on the back for the perfect pattern and yarn comb ;)
I used the eye of partridge heel and toe instead of the suggested pattern heel and toe, which I love the way it turned out. It reminds me a little of a quilting because of the texture and color changes.
I will not be giving these away. These fit my feet so perfectly, they...fit my feet perfectly?
And I dragged the Hubby outside to take pictures of me standing on rocks so you could bask in their glory. That's devotion people.
Also, I don't think anyone besides myself wants socks that I have actually posed on the dog. They look more like leg warmers on her, though.

Beautiful! I can't believe you got the dog to model them. She's staying so still! Hee!
You are so wrong!! PoPo needs some aunt Leslie loving for what you do to her. Anyway, I sent you some progress from this weekend. Check it out and don't yell at me for the sucky pictures. we can't all be photographers. Love ya, LB
People, let's remember PoPo is used to the paparazzi. She's used to being in the spot light and quite frankly, I think she might be getting a little to "Dolores" on me if you know what I mean.
OMG!! Now that is tooooo funny!! I just might have to make your dog famous too :) OMG....that has to be THE best sock modeling photo EVER!
