The Missing Link

1. Link's back home! albeit a living in PoPo's dog crate in our garage, but he's home. we can't let him wander about the garage on is own as his nerves and syphincter muscles are still a little shot. But he's home and loving it. such a wonderful, happy, purr-errific cat. you'd never believe that he had just gotten home from spending a little more than a week at the Vet's office, getting injections to clear up infections, injections to clear up diarrhea, pills for a collage of reasons and a *gasp* bath. oh and that this was the second time he's stayed multiple nights. (the first time having a battery of surgeries-neuter, deep back wound cleansed/stitched up and a tail removal.)

2. in other news, the baby gifts for the co-worker are under way. I have finished the hat. Robe is commencing and the booties are no where in sight. thankfully, it takes nine months to have a baby and she's not due until february, so i still have a few months to finish the items.

3. I have found the most greatest sit ever. for knitting. for me. i will be adding a link to the side of the page when I am feeling less lazy, but until then i'll just leave you with the link Fluffa! I have found that I will need to learn french, to follow any of the patterns that she has done, but gosh who wouldn't want to make these? what a better way to learn foreign language than when driven by greed?

4. The MIL (mother-in-law) and SIL (sister-in-law) came up to go to the movies today. We went to the theater to see Narnia. M was psyched about it all week. i admit, it was terrific. more so than HP? I can't go that far. but i can say that i forgot to take pictures of us at the theater. i had a great two page layout for the HP and Narnia movie events of the year in my head too. let's just say that I would be able to use all those ticket stubs again, w/o creating the same page i did last year.

Did i mention we like to see about one movie a month? at least. the good news is when you life in the sticks it only costs $7.00 to see a evening movie; matinee is only $5.00; plus the theater is NEVER full, not even for the HP release. it's great.

5. also i thought you would like to see our very beautiful tree.
