My 9 to 5ish socks in teal by Cherry Tree Hill.
These are my version of the Nine-to-five socks (rav) by Nicole Hindes . I made some changes to the stitch pattern (see the link from the title of this post). When I started the pattern I could have sworn there were dainty little holes between all of the curving knit stitches. There were not. I had to have dainty Yo's, so I adapted the pattern. Yay me.
Unfortunately, unless you want to see the next 36 inches of the cabled scarf I am currently working on, I don't have much else in the way of knitting updates. But I've been busy with other stuff, like the following in no particular order...
- Pissing off the cat by bathing her. Believe it or not I do this out of the kindness and not because I am a black- souled monster with a heart shriveled from evil. She has dandruff. Bathes make her feel better. I swear.
- Find leaks in our roofing and getting them repaired. It seems that the builder was equally cheap all the way around and decided that our roof didn't need to come all the way to the edge of the house, much less have a drip edge install. In case you don't know. A drip edge prevents water from rolling back up the roofing material (metal in our case), the soaking across the wood and dripping into your walls or possibly into, say, your windows-thereby letting you know you have a leak. Shitty builder.
