Yarn P0rn...Mondays?

I visited with my Mother and my grandmother (paternal) over the weekend. You all know what came next, don't you? Crafting and talking about crafting. Crocheting, knitting, scrapbooking, quilting, beading, fabrics, yarns, sparklely beads, glue, papers, pens! All that and some fun money from my father.

You all know what happens with sudden cash surprises (well, except for you ESC). Yarn and yarn accessories get purchased. I had recently been drooling over Fattie's Pomatomus socks in Jitterbug's Sahara colorway. The warm fall colors called out to me. Oranges, Browns, Plums, Marigolds, and Reds, oh my! Gimme, gimme, gimme. And so I did.

'Autumn Oak'

'River Rock'

Etsy seller WhiteWillow to the rescue again. I think I am trying to solely support this woman. I have purchased her yarns at the expense of all other sellers, commercial or independent. I seriously, just look through her sold pages until I find what I want. Unfortunately (or fortunately) , I never make past the second or third page. So many yummy yarns. If she had a sock club and I had a billion more dollars. I would so be there.

Oh, and I purchased one of these in size 10 to help me complete my SAFF jacket. Nothing like a new pair of needles to help spur you on.

Ok I am totally going to stop coming here. So instead of buying the Sahara that I already OWN you had to go and find something else I am sure I need! River rock is dreamy. Fortunately I am having a boy so I can appease myself by saying I can't make anything for him with it. :-) That is my logic and dangit I am sticking to it. :-)
